The Cutting Edge IPP Krav Maga classes are broken into two halves. The first half of class stresses cardio and other basic skill development through heavy drilling. The second half of the class gives more in-depth instruction on specific techniques.
Here's a few quick answers to questions we get about our classes:
Do I need prior experience to join up?
No, you don't. We accept beginners regardless of whether or not you have any prior martial arts experience at all.
Do I need to be in shape to join up?
No, you don't. Part of including our conditioning drills as part of our classes is to help students improve their cardiovascular fitness and strength.
What do I need to do to check out the classes?
Just drop by on one of our class nights. We'll have a liability waiver for you to sign before you can jump in an participate, but once this paperwork is done, you'll be able to join in for the night at no cost to you.
What should I wear?
Generally, we recommend comfortable gym clothes with sneakers. No open-toed shoes like sandals or flip-flops. No open heel shoes either. Our Krav training is done with shoes on.
Do you have classes for kids?
We're sorry. But we don't currently have a program for kids. We generally limit our class enrollment to adults, but we will consider making exceptions for families with children aged 13+.
